Established in 1993, the Neighbours’ Association of Las Lomas de Arguineguín has a long history of supporting those in need. Over the years the food project has worked closely with the Banco de Alimentos de Las Palmas (FESBAL Federation of Food Banks), the English-speaking Catholic Community, local churches, businesses, and many volunteers. They currently operate from privately rented premises after their original building was withdrawn, to continue meeting growing demand on the south-west coast.
